Register For TIMS Account Online

TIMS (Transport Integrated Management System) is an online platform created to enable citizens to access NTSA services such as applications for smart driving license, application for PDL, paying of new driving license, motor vehicle registration, motor vehicle inspection booking, and much more.

You can register TIMS account online by following simple steps;

Requirements

• National Identity card

• KRA pin

• Mobile number

• Your mother’s Maiden name

• Mobile number

• E-mail address

Procedure

Visit NTSA TIMS website at “www.tims.ntsa.go.ke”

Click on Register an Account.

Next, select the type of account you want to register.

If you want a personal account, choose ‘Individual’ and proceed.

Enter your ID Serial number and verify.

Enter your mother’s maiden name and verify.

Go to the next page where you will require to fill in your personal details i.e. KRA pin, mobile number, e-mail address, postal address and postal code.

After filling in all, click on ‘send authorization code’ button and wait for a text message to come to your mobile phone.

Enter the code as it appears on the message to verify.

Fill each one carefully to finally finish your registration. Press ‘Next.’

TIMS will send you a password via text, which you can use to log in to your account.

Go back to the homepage and choose the log-in option.

Enter the password that TIMS sent previously and press ‘get code.’

When your account successfully opens, go to the top right corner of the page where your name appears and click on it.

A drop-down menu will appear. Choose ‘change password option.

Enter a password you will remember and retype it for confirmation.

Once you are successful, you can now access all TIMS account services from your smartphone, laptop, or tablet.
