CHANGE OF PHONE NUMBER on TIMS account

PUBLIC NOTICE ON CHANGE OF PHONE NUMBER

The request to change the telephone number on the TIMS portal has been disabled as the platform is being abused. In order to change your telephone number, please visit the nearest NTSA office with your original ID for verification.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INDIVIDUALS (CITIZENS AND ALIENS)

Visit the NTSA office with the following documents:

1. Present the original national identification card.
2. Provide a copy of the original national identification card.
3. The account owner must present him or herself in person.
4. Original affidavit.

REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPANIES

Visit the NTSA office with the following documents:

1. Request for change of phone to be made on original Company Letter Head.
2. Original Certificate of Incorporation.
3. KRA PIN.
4. Original CR12.
5. Original affidavit, indicating the full name of the person, ID Number and KRA PIN, who has been authorized to transact on behalf of the company, and should be authorized by a lawyer.
6. Resolution of meeting where the decision to change the phone number was made. Reason for change of number must be indicated.
7. Copy of IDS of the Director(s).
8. Carry copies of ALL the above documents.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GOVERNEMENT BODIES

Visit the NTSA office with the following documents:

1. Request for change of phone be made on the institution’s Original Company Letter Head. The letter MUST be signed by the Accounting Officer/Head of Transport Section/ Head of Legal Section/ Head of Human Resource Section.
2. KRA PIN.
3. Original affidavit, indicating the full name of the person, ID Number and KRA PIN, who has been authorized to transact on behalf of the organization, and should be authorized by an active advocate.
4. Copy of ID of the person authorized through the affidavit.
5. Carry copies of ALL the above documents.
